Brooke Rinier and Greg Fornalczyk met their match on Match.com. After a few weeks of phone calls and e-mail flirting, “We went on our first date, and the rest is history,” says Brooke. Though it was Brooke who sent the initial “wink,” it was Greg who made the next grand gesture. On the morning of Easter, a year after they’d started dating, Brooke discovered her engagement ring hidden in a pretty plastic egg. It was raining on the afternoon of their wedding at Ascension Catholic Church in Jeannette, but their limo driver, Al, from Sky Limousines, helped make everything “all the more special,” recalls Brooke. He saved the day — and their photo session — by going to the trunk for a huge umbrella. His suggestion of a trip to the gazebo at Ligonier Square was wonderful too — it was there that the sun finally shone through. The Fornalczyks celebrated at Giannilli’s II in Greensburg, where there was plenty of Italian food for sharing. Instead of the traditional garter toss, the newlyweds toasted their family with an anniversary dance.
